Tourism Etiquette Rules for Chinese Citizens Traveling Abroad

中国公民，出境旅游，注重礼仪，保持尊严。
Chinese citizens traveling abroad must observe the local standards of propriety while keeping their own national dignity.

讲究卫生，爱护环境；衣着得体，请勿喧哗。
Keep the place clean and tidy, and protect the environment. Be dressed appropriatedly. Don’t yell or talk loudly.

尊老爱幼，助人为乐；女士优先，礼貌谦让。
Respect senior citizens and care for children. And be ready to help others in need. To the female practice “lady first”; to others follow the rule “after you, please”.

出行办事，遵守时间；排队有序，不越黄线。
Keep track of the time difference and arrive at appointments on time. Wait in a queue to get your turn and stand behind the yellow line.

文明住宿，不损用品；安静用餐，请勿浪费。
Be a welcome guest in a hotel. Don’t damage objects in hotel rooms. Wine and dine quietly, and don’t waste food.

健康娱乐，有益身心；赌博色情，坚决拒绝。
Go in for healthy and cultured entertainments, and say no to pornography, gambling and drugs.

参观游览，遵守规定；习俗禁忌，切勿冒犯。
Follow the rules and tips on sightseeing tours. Be careful to observe the local customs or taboos. Don’t violate or offend against them.

遇有疑难，问使领馆；文明出行，一路平安。
When in doubt or difficulty, make enquiries to the Chinese embassy or the consulate. Be a responsible traveler and enjoy a safe and pleasant trip.

Tourism Etiquette Rules for Chinese Citizens Traveling at Home

营造文明、和谐的旅游环境，关系到每位游客的切身利益。做文明游客是我们大家的义务，请遵守以下公约：
The cultivation of a congenial and harmonious travel environment benefits every tourist. It is our bounden to be a tourist with refined manners. So please observe the following tourism etiquette rules.

１、维护环境卫生。不随地吐痰和口香糖，不乱扔废弃物，不在禁烟场所吸烟。
1. Keep the environment clean and tidy. Don't spit about or spit out chewing gum. Don't drop litter. Don't smoke except in designated areas.

２、遵守公共秩序。不喧哗吵闹，排队遵守秩序，不并行挡道，不在公众场所高声交谈。
2. Observe public order. Don't yell or shout out loud. Always join a public queue for good order. Don't walk abreast on a sidewalk. Don't talk loudly in public.

３、保护生态环境。不踩踏绿地，不摘折花木和果　实，不追捉、投打、乱喂动物。
3. Preserve the ecological environment. Stay off public lawns, and refrain from picking flowers or fruits. Don't chase, catch, or throw stones at animals or feed them irresponsibly.

４、保护文物古迹。不在文物古迹上涂刻，不攀爬触摸文物，拍照摄像遵守规定。
4. Protect historical sites and cultural relics. Don't inscribe anything or scrawl graffiti on them. Don't touch or climb on top of ancient relics, and heed the restrictions when taking photos with them.

５、爱惜公共设施。不污损客房用品，不损坏公用设施，不贪占小便宜，节约用水用电，用餐不浪费。
5. Be careful with the use of public facilities. Don't smear or break objects in hotel rooms. Don't vandalize or damage public facilities. Don't attempt to make off with public belongings. Conserve water and electricity by using them efficiently. And don't waste food.

６、尊重别人权利。不强行和外宾合影，不对着别人打喷嚏，不长期占用公共设施，尊重服务人员的劳动，尊重各民族宗教习俗。
6. Be respectful to the people around you. Don't try to snapshoot pictures with foreign friends without their permission. Don't sneeze into the face of others. Don't occupy public facilities for too long. Esteem the work of service staff. And respect the local religious customs.

７、讲究以礼待人。衣着整洁得体，不在公共场所袒胸赤膊；礼让老幼病残，礼让女士；不讲粗话。
7. Show courtesy to others. Be dressed appropriately. Don't go barebacked in public places. Be considerate towards the aged, the infirm, the sick and the disabled and give priority to them. Be chivalrous to the female by following the rule "lady first”. Never use vulgar language.

８、提倡健康娱乐。抵制封建迷信活动，拒绝黄、赌、毒。
8. Take part in healthy entertainments. Say no to feudal superstitious activities. Stay away from pornography, gambling and drugs.

 

我们前半年交纳劳动保障金每人交了3120，而从9月份后交的却只1800元。

并且多交部分不给予退还，说什么九月前已多交者当时是执行国家标准，九月后是执行省标准。
我夫妻今年这样一算就多交了两千六百多块。

越想越觉得气愤。难道这社会是在鼓励不积极交纳保险费者吗？早交或积极交纳者反而不如拖延交纳者吗？

早知这样根本不该早早在半年前就交纳，拖到现在再交该多好啊！

Pricing is often confusing and intimidating to some freelance professional translators. For example, how do you set pricing? Do you set pricing per word, per fuzzy match, or by file type?

There are some rough pricing standards and methods that may be helpful to you if you are not using them already.

First, you need to understand that TRADOS uniquely provides an analysis tool that compares any new project against an existing Translation Memory. The resulting analysis will provide you complete visibility into what percentage of the new document can be recycled from previously translated material. Further, the analysis will reveal to what degree the words in each sentence can be recycled.

For example, exact sentence matches are known as 100% matches ? makes sense. However, sentences that are similar but not exact are known as "Fuzzy matches." The degree to which a fuzzy match is similar to a sentence in the new project is identified by a percentage. The higher the percentage, the closer the match thus, minimizing the editing effort required to leverage the stored translation segment.

Most translation agencies and professional translators charge by the word and when using TRADOS, find it advantageous to use the 30/60/100 rule.

Pricing is not just set on a per word basis when complex file types are involved. If you are translating in files types other than Word like web pages, or desk top publishing formats, you will want to charge file maintenance fees to compensate you for the extra skill required to manage and translate within such file types. Typically, a 10% - 20% surcharge (depending on project complexity) is customary.

Ultimately, you negotiating with your client will establish pricing for a given project. However, by using TRADOS and understanding what pricing methods others in the industry are using, you will be well advantaged to maximize your earning potential.

国务院一般“目录”译为contents， 这里却象产品目录一样译为catalogue
国务院一般“规定”译为provisions(条例译为regulations)，而这里把“规定”译为regulations
国务院一般“基本制度”译为Basic Systems，这里译为Basic Rules(基本规则或规章)
国务院版本用in the cases of ....的地方，它都用为to ....
(比如：
需由中方控股或相对控股的产业，该产业的企业被并购后，仍应由中方在企业中占控股或相对控股地位；
国务院版本：In the case of industries which require the Chinese party to be controlling or relatively controlling, the Chinese party shall remain to be in the controlling or relatively controlling position in the acquired enterprise after any merger or acquisition of the domestic enterprise engaging in such industries.
此版本：To an industry that needs Chinese party to have the holdings or have relative holdings, and the Chinese party shall maintain its holdings or relative holdings in the enterprise after the enterprise in that industry is merged and acquired.

禁止外国投资者经营的产业，外国投资者不得并购从事该产业的企业。
国务院版本：In the case of industries where operation by foreign investors is prohibited, no foreign investors may merge with or acquire any enterprise engaging in such industries.
此版本：To an industry that is forbidden to be operated by a sole foreign investor, the foreign investor shall not merge with or acquire any enterprise in that industry.)

外国投资者并购境内企业设立外商投资企业，应依照本规定经审批机关批准，并向登记管理机关办理变更登记或设立登记。
国务院版本：Any merger or acquisition of a domestic enterprise by foreign investors to set up a foreign investment enterprise shall be subject to the approval of the examination and approval authorities in accordance with the Provisions, and procedures for change registration or establishment registration shall be handled with the registration authorities.
此版本：A foreign investor establishes a foreign-invested enterprise by merging or acquiring a domestic enterprise shall be approved by the examination and approval organ in accordance with the provisions of these Regulations and register for changes or establish a registration to the registration management authority


国务院版本表示条件、前提、假定等多用If....\Where ....\In (the) case(s) of，而这里用得五花八门：
外国投资者股权并购的，并购后所设外商投资企业继承被并购境内公司的债权和债务。
国务院版本：In the case of Equity Merger and Acquisition by foreign investors, the foreign investment enterprise established thereafter shall succeed to the creditor’s rights and liabilities of the merged or acquired Domestic Company.
此版本：Once a foreign investor annexes stock rights, the foreign invested enterprise established after the annexation shall inherit the creditor’s rights and debt of the merged or acquired company.

外国投资者资产并购的，出售资产的境内企业承担其原有的债权和债务。
国务院版本：In the case of Asset Merger and Acquisition by foreign investors, the domestic enterprise selling assets shall assume all its original creditor’s rights and liabilities.
此版本：As for the annexation of foreign investor’s assets, the domestic enterprise that sold the assets shall bear the original creditor’s rights and debt.

用TRADOS的TAGEDITOR翻译一个POWERPOINT文件时，程序默认将PPT文件转换为TTX时，所有发言人的注释也被转过来让翻译。

然而通常客户并不需要翻译这些注释，有什么办法让TAGEDITOR在转换PPT文件为TTX时将忽略这些注释呢？

解决办法：

从安装文件夹打开

D:\Program Files\SDL International\T2006_FL\TT\PowerPoint_1_0_0_0.xml

（如果使用TRADOS6.5LSP时为D:\Program Files\TRADOS\T65_LSP\TT\PowerPoint_1_0_0_0.xml）

（在更改前最好备份）

将<SlidesInPresentationOrder>Default</SlidesInPresentationOrder> 改为<SlidesInPresentationOrder>NoNotes</SlidesInPresentationOrder>

TE便默认不解析注释部分了。
